Purpose of the service
LivedIn lets a tenant fill in their profile once, then send it as a link, one separate link per application. LivedIn tells the tenant whether that link was opened, how many times and when, and the landlord's answer.
For each application, the tenant may paste the address of the listing concerned. LivedIn then reads that page once to extract the useful information (rent, size, location), estimates the Paris rent-control ceiling when the home is in Paris, and suggests an application message. Outside Plus (section 2), LivedIn does not monitor any listing site, does not send applications in the tenant's place and does not act on their behalf.
LivedIn is not a landlord, property owner, or party to any rental agreement: the lease is signed directly between the tenant and the landlord or agency. LivedIn never publishes, hosts, or republishes any listing.
Plans
LivedIn is free and unlimited, for as many applications as you like: application as a link, application message and follow-ups suggested at the right moment, the rent check against rent control (legal or not, and the gap in euros with the cap), an assessment of your application's strength for each listing and advice to strengthen it, an indicative estimate of the housing aid you may be entitled to (Visale, Loca-Pass advance, APL: their bodies decide), the detail of your links' opens (when and how many times, return visits, access to your documents or the listing), the landlord's answer, application tracking, detection of scam signs on listings, a comparison of the fees and deposit you enter with their legal caps, a reading of the energy class (DPE) the listing gives (indications, not legal advice), and a space to prepare and record your viewings (points to check, impression, notes and photos, visible to you only). Plus is a service from the LivedIn team, for 1 month: from the search you give (type of place, area, budget, criteria), the team selects listings that match it every day and applies to them in your name, with your profile and a message drafted for each listing. The team follows up with landlords who are slow to answer, passes their answers on to you, helps you set up viewings and reviews your profile at the start. Before signing, the team reviews with you the lease you send it (fees, deposit, DPE and common clauses, against the caps and rules in force): it is a check, not legal advice. These applications show in your dashboard marked “Picked by LivedIn”, and a report is emailed to you every evening. By buying Plus, you authorise LivedIn to send these applications in your name for the length of Plus; you can pause or change your search at any time. LivedIn does not guarantee you will get a place, does not negotiate, visit or sign on your behalf, and is never paid on the signing of a lease. The Guided and LivedIn Landing plans are no longer offered: people who bought them keep access until their end date.
Account and access
Access to the service requires creating an account. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials; any use of your account is presumed to have been carried out by you.
LivedIn reserves the right to suspend or delete any account whose use is contrary to these Terms, fraudulent, or harmful to the service or its users.
Profile and documents
LivedIn does not collect or store your supporting documents. They stay on your DossierFacile (dossierfacile.fr), the French government's free service, which your application page links to.
Your application page shows the information you choose to fill in: first name, employment situation, income, guarantor type, number of occupants and move-in date. Anyone with the link can see it. Each link expires after 60 days and you can disable it at any time. The rent legality estimate never appears on it.
No document is needed to apply. The link to your documents on DossierFacile appears on an application page only after you agree, for the one landlord you share them with, and you can take that access back at any time.
Listing information
Information about homes (price, size, location) comes from the listing you point to and from what you confirm or correct. The legal ceiling comes from the public Paris rent-control data (DRIHL).
The legality indicator ("under the ceiling" / "above the ceiling") is an informational estimate based on the rent-control schedule in force when you create the application. It only covers Paris, is visible to you alone, is not legal advice and does not replace your own verification. Scam signs flagged on a listing are points to check, not an accusation: their absence does not guarantee a listing is genuine, and their presence does not prove it is fraudulent.
Payment
The Essential plan is entirely free: no payment and no bank card are required to use it.
Plus (€29.90) is paid once, for 1 month, with no subscription or automatic renewal, by card via Stripe (Apple Pay included), on the website or in the iPhone app. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from payment; if you expressly ask for the search to start before the end of that period, the part of the service already provided remains due if you withdraw (article L221-25 of the French Consumer Code). The Pro plan, for landlords (€29.90 a month), is bought on the website, by card via Stripe. It is a monthly subscription with no commitment, renewed automatically every month on its anniversary date until it is cancelled. It makes the number of places online at the same time unlimited, where the free plan allows 3; every other feature is the same in both plans. You can cancel it at any time, at no cost, from your settings ("Cancel my subscription"): the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid for, no further payment is taken, and it is confirmed to you by email. You can resume it until that date. When the subscription ends, your places online stay online; only new places beyond 3 can no longer be put online. Because Pro is a digital service supplied immediately, at subscription you expressly ask for access right away and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal (article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code). An invoice is issued for every payment and stays available in your settings. Deleting your account ends the subscription. Payments are processed via Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified payment provider, which stores no banking data with LivedIn. Its exact terms are communicated to you before you subscribe.
No money related to the rental agreement itself (rent, security deposit) passes through LivedIn: these amounts are settled directly between you and the landlord or agency.
Liability
LivedIn cannot guarantee the outcome of an application submitted to a third party. Open tracking shows that a page was displayed in a browser; it does not guarantee it was read, or by whom.
LivedIn cannot be held liable for the accuracy of information published by third parties, nor for the consequences of a rental agreement concluded between you and a landlord or agency.
LivedIn uses all reasonable means to ensure the availability and security of the service, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Personal data
The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, accessible at /privacy. By using the service, you accept this processing.
Amendments to the Terms and governing law
LivedIn reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. You will be informed by email or by a notification on the platform. Continued use of the service after an amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
